Lyria 's vocalist , Aline Happ , released last Monday, the 25th, a reinterpretation of one of Metallica , "Sad But True," inspired by symphonic metal and with a haunting atmosphere.
“This song is connected to the unconscious, to good and evil, to obsessive thoughts, guilt, regrets, resentment, and various negative feelings that need to be channeled in some way,” Alice says about the cover. “I brought in various symbols, symbols of the terror of our own minds. The ghost represents the thoughts that haunt us, as does the witch. While the more raspy vocal represents mockery and preaching, the lyrical lyrics convey the idea of something more distant and unattainable, a voice echoing inside your head.”
